“give people something they didn’t know they were starving for”
"So much of our time can be spent caught up in the details of our daily responsibilities that it can sometimes obscure the meaning of what we do. It was truly a rewarding experience to spend such quality time with this amazing group of people investigating and reconnecting with the power, meaning, and potential of our work. I left inspired and hopeful for the future.”

“Passion, Purpose and Produce offered a remarkable experience. The people and the ideas presented at the seminar brought together a diversity that wove itself into something greater than the sum of its parts. As said by both Aristotle and Buddha, there are many paths to seek what is true, but ultimately they lead to the same destination. The seminar was full of people from all walks of life, who nonetheless found themselves in Seattle, to share their collective wisdom (and vulnerability) on the food that sustains us all. To be physically present, and learn first hand about the science and philosophy of cultivation from the people who had dedicated their lives to the art of food, was at once humbling and inspiring.”

“Mark and his talented team of farmers and facilitators brought a unique and diverse spread of examples and leadership to the conference. It certainly helped to facilitate and guide the experience for the group. By the end of the week, even the shyest of voices were speaking up and sharing their experiences with each other. As I am writing this, it is clear that this journey is still continuing for me. As I process all of the experiences we had, I feel as though I have been recalibrated. I’m viewing my day to day work through a clear lens. I’ve always had this lens, but maybe it’s gotten a little bit cloudy over the years. I’m also someone who likes to think uncompromising and unrealistically big. Passion, Purpose, and Produce reminded me to not only do that, but go further, think bigger than big. There are no limits, only the ones that we place one on ourselves. Thank you for that reminder.”

“Passion, Purpose and Produce helped me rediscover my passion for the organic food system. It created sustenance for my mind, body, and career. It was life changing and I'm excited to bring back what I've learned to help create the best produce shopping experience for our customers and provide support and motivation to my coworkers.”

“Passion, Purpose and Produce was an enlightening experience for me. Coming from Corporate America Food Industry where it’s all about the numbers, it’s easy to forget why you love working in the food industry so much, and what an incredible opportunity we have as natural foods grocers to share with our customers and employees the value of what we do. To teach people about flavors and tastes and seasonality of foods when we’re living in a fast-paced, high convenience society is a gift to create a genuine connection and give people something they didn’t know they were starving for. It was wonderful to be reminded of that, make my own new connections, and get inspired about what we do. There aren’t really words for the intangible feelings of being reignited that Passion, Purpose, and Produce gave to me.”

“I have been trying to find the words to say to sum up my experience at the triple P. Thank you for taking a risk and letting us reflect for a bit. To say the least, and the most, WOW!! I wasn't sure what to expect on my way and to be honest I am kind of happy it was like that. Part of this for me was taking that initial leap of faith that even though I was unsure of what to expect I was sure that it was something that I should do and would remember. I believe that, that, in and of itself is part of the invitation seeking out the people that are supposed to be there. I guess that sounds a little weird, but people who want to be part of change can either take that leap of faith and be the change or simply just talk and let it pass them by.”
